We did it. We finally got ourselves the good ole Canon 5D Mark II. I've happily passed the 7D over to Josh for when he helps me second shoot at weddings. New camera equipment + this cooler weather has me inspired in multiple ways. I always thought I was a summer gal, committed all the way. But as summer slowly runs its course and autumn begins to take its toll, I'm beginning to anticipate fall more than I thought I would. We have a lot of exciting trips, projects, and weddings coming up, and we're ready to hit the upcoming season in full force.
The longer I take photos for a living, the more they become such a vital part of my everyday life. I know I ramble about this a lot, but lately I've been really cautious to guard that precious feeling; to not let photographs be what pays the bills, but blessed moments I get the privilege to be a part of.
On a lighter note, today is for airy skirts, comfy shirts, and messy hair. Hope your Tuesday is off to a lovely start.
