With fall approaching, I thought it was time to start gathering some fall fashion inspiration. I'm definitely guilty when it comes to falling in love with a certain style/color/trend and buying similar pieces over.. and over and over. This season I've decided to take a different approach and start off with creating a color palette, finding a few basic outfits I'll be sure to style, and then determining which pieces I already have, need to buy, and could live without.
Look #1 would be for a simple day out either taking photos or something like a coffee date with a pal. This is one of my favorite looks because it's simple and comfortable, but still pretty enough to feel well put together. I always work best, even when at home, if I feel like my wardrobe is presentable.
Look #2 is for those chilly nights out on double dates, concerts, or dinner with some friends. I like the little bit of heel in the boots, the bangles, and scarf that make it feel a little more dressed up without having to sacrifice comfort.
Look #3 is more of a guilty pleasure, meant for running errands, working on projects at home, or bonfire nights.
Look #4 is the most dressed up look, though it still has a flair of simplicity and casuality. I'm really never one to go all out and get fancied up, so outfits like this help me stay in my comfort zone while still having a more dressed up vibe. Plus, the chambray top can easily be replaced with a dark, neutral cardigan, making it a bit less casual.
All of the pieces above, minus the shoes and bag, are $50 and under, something we budget friendly gals can appreciate. Over all, this season I'm looking for neutral pieces, gold toned jewelry, and a look of warmth and simplicity. What fashion trends are you looking forward to in the upcoming season?
p.s. Congratulations, Jamie!
