Dress, courtesy of Free People // Sweater, F21 // Boots, Charlotte Russe
I've been waiting for this darling party dress from Free People for a couple of weeks now. I can say I was extra lucky because the week it arrived, we were hit with a spell of 70 degree weather. Missouri could possibly have the most bipolar weather known to exist, but if that means I get 70 degrees in December, by golly I'll take it.
Speaking of warm weather, it allowed me to do some exploring the other day, which is how I stumbled upon this location actually. I've caught myself wanting to do this a lot lately. Make a cup of coffee, grab a mix cd, and drive the back roads and outskirts of our city. I claim it's to go location scouting for photo shoots, which is true, but I think I'd still do it just as much if I had a different occupation that didn't require me to find pretty scenery. It's soothing, refreshing, and great for reflecting. Plus, even I can pretend that I'm a good singer when I'm alone in the car, no one's driving by, and music is drowning me out. ;)
