This week has been eventful in all sorts and forms. I've been on an inspirational high, so to speak, these past couple of days, and I've attempted to make the most of it as possible. That being in mind, as you may (or may not) have noticed, I have a new blog design! I've still got a few tweaks here and there, but that will come with time. I'm happily pleased with how it all looks as a whole. A bit more 'clean looking'. I couldn't possibly ditch my first banner completely, so it will find its way to my about page in the near future. ;)
Here are bits and pieces of what our week has looked like..
Last night, we successfully slept out on the roof for the first time. It was such a lovely, peaceful evening. Falling asleep under the stars to the sound of trains going back and forth, and waking up at sunrise to what sounded like a hundred birds singing away, was the perfect way to start the weekend. And without fail, we made chocolate pancakes the moment we awoke. It was a happy, happy morning.

The print above is just for kicks. The original photo was from a shoot I did a few months back. Creating simple prints like this are a sort of "creative break" for me. I can do with it as I please and share it with the world, or keep it all to myself.
Also, a photo shoot I was in this past week for 417 Magazine asked me to make a few projects for one of their upcoming issues! I'll share one of them as a DIY this week.

On an unrelated happy note, a storm just made its way to our city (hence the stormy weather appropriate playlist). I'm hoping to spend the evening soaking up good music, tea, and good conversation with my love. Oh how the weekend spoils me so.
