We used to come out to this field all the time last summer. It's a bicycle ride away from our old place, but quite a bit of distance from our current location. I forgot how much I loved this place. Coming here again caused me to start reminiscing about last summer. It was entirely different in every possible way. Not that one was better or worse than the other, but more of a reminder of how much things can change in just a year's time.
I've been on the look out for a sleeveless, denim button up for about a month when I found this piece at a local thrift shop. It was originally a long, denim dress, and I simply cut it off at the waist line. I haven't hemmed it, nor do I plan on it, since I'll be tying it or tucking it in every time I wear it. But it would be a simple fix if I ever decide to do so. This information might be completely pointless unless you're, like me, unwilling to pay $30 for something you can find and create yourself for $3.
Our plans for the day involve meeting with a bride and groom to discuss wedding day details and then Silver Dollar City with some pals of ours. I hope your Monday is off to a wonderful start.
