Golden.

The past few days have been so completely wonderful. We traveled the 14 hour drive to Georgia on Sunday to shoot a the prettiest wedding and are on our way back right now. Josh and I went to college with the sweet couple, and we've been pals ever since. I was honored when they asked me to be a part of their precious day, and my excitement duplicated when we arrived at the stunning venue. I can't wait to share some images with you. We met some truly lovely individuals and witnessed one of the most emotional (in a good way, of course!) weddings I've ever seen. As busy as it's been, it's certainly been a creative rejuvenation.

I found this vintage dress last week and have been waiting for the opportune time to wear it out. It has such a complex, unique pattern that really gives it character. Laura sent me this stunning piece of jewelry that fit its aesthetic perfectly, so I paired them together with a pair of heels from Blowfish and headed out the door. It's a few sizes too large (hence the rolled sleeves), but I liked its oversized fit and loose hem. Investing in airy dresses for summertime is one of my favorite styles without a doubt. Plus, this 90+ degree heat is quite an encouragement to the dress trend as well. ;)

We're about to tackle the last five hours of our drive home. Josh and I have been discussing business endeavors for the past two hours; something that's been encouraging, a bit overwhelming, and inspiring all at the same time. I don't know what I'd do without having such a supportive, engaged husband.
