If you know me well at all, you know nothing excites me more than the chance to travel the world. I've realized that \"traveling\" is what I collect in a way. I don't have a collection of any one sort of thing, but collecting photos from my travels is one of my biggest prized possessions. Once printed, place onto a projector, and trace onto the wooden board with a sharpie. If you don't have a projector you can use, have a friend hold a flashlight to the back of the film while you trace.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nNext, begin collecting the images you'd like to print. I chose to print mine in a collage to keep from using multiple pieces of photo paper. With the\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/RScdmP\"\u003E\u003Cb\u003EPIXMA iP8720 printer\u003C\/b\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E, you can print on large scale photo paper which can keep you from using multiple pieces, saving you time and money. I was able to print all of these images on two 13x19 pieces of photo paper.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nOnce printed, cut out each photo the shape of the state you took it in. Then, attach in place with rubber cement.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nOnce dry, attach the photo hanging hooks to the back of the board, and it's ready to hang on the wall!\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nWhat I love most about this project is that it really shows where you've been, what areas you have yet to explore (northeast for me) and is a wonderful reminder of all the adventures and memories I've been able to make. I created mine in Photoshop, but there are lots of free, alternative programs you can use. Next, print the collage onto a large piece of photo paper. I used a 13x19 in. sheet. What's great about the \u003Cb\u003E\u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/Dex5RQ\" target=\"_blank\"\u003EPIXMA iP8720\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/b\u003Eprinter is that because you're entering the paper through the top of the printer, there really is no limit to the length size of paper you choose. This gives you the ability to make the collage with as many or as few photos as you'd like!\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\n\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\nNext, cut out the strips of photos. I left a border along my photos, but this step is completely up to your own preference.\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\n\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\nBend the photos back and forth along the edges, accordion style.\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\n\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\nNext, cut the leather into two pieces for the cover of the album. With a crop-a-dile, punch holes in the leather and thread the cord through. To find the correct length of the cord, stretch out the photo strips to see how wide it would need to be to see all of the photos.\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\n\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\nAttach the back of the first and last images to the leather with the rubber cement. Let the rubber cement dry before moving the album.\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\n\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\n\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\n\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\nEasy as that! I think what I love most about these photo accordions is the story you can tell in such a small amount of photos.
