I'm not normally a big tea drinker. Coffee has always been my go. But this recipe might change all of that for me. This recipe is easy to make and only takes about ten minutes.
2 cups water
2 regular tea bags
1/8 tsp. ginger
1/8 tsp. cardamon
1 whole clove
1 cinnamon stick
1 tbsp stevia or 1/4 cup raw sugar
2 1/2 cups almond milk
Combine water, spices, and tea bags in a small pot and bring to a boil for five minutes. Next, stir in the stevia (or sugar). Lastly, pour in the milk and return to a boil. Once it's reached a boiling point, remove from the stove top quickly so not to boil over. Pour into a mug through a tea strainer. Enjoy!
This sounds amazing! Can't wait to try it!

Homemade chai is so much better than store bought. I have vanilla unsweetened almond milk so I'm wondering if this would taste good with a hint of vanilla flavor.
