Heart it Races

I keep thinking I'm okay with the end of summer approaching, until days like today; warm, breezes, open windows,  Josh playing the banjo and our little bird, Petrie, singing along. August always reminds me of the summer things I've put on the back burner that still need to be accomplished before the nights become shorter and colder.

I kind of geeked out when I found this little wolf shirt. Maybe it's the 90's child in me, but knotted t-shirts and maxi skirts are becoming a new favorite trend of mine. Also, check out my new bag by BirdTrouble. Alexz customized this lovely purse just for me, and she couldn't have been more precise with my style. Plus, the quality of sewing and materials are impeccable.

Josh and I are off to a shoot, then hanging with our best pals all evening. I've realized, for the most part, that Mondays have become our new weekend. Maybe it's just become the most convenient day to take off, or maybe it's because Mondays usually have such a downer vibe to them, that we try and avoid it at all costs. Either way, Mondays are my favorite.

Outfit details: Purse, c/o BirdTrouble. Shoes, c/o Blowfish. Skirt, shirt, jacket, F21.
