Rope Belt DIY

As promised from yesterday..

Supplies: thin cotton rope, sew on snaps.
Pantry Supplies: Scissors, needle & thread.

First, create a fun knot! I started with a simple climbing knot and then made it my own. It's technically not an actual type of knot, but it's all up to the wearer! Here is a site that teaches a few fun knots. Have fun creating your own! The only thing you'll want to be sure of is that you have two strands at the end of the knot, giving you a thicker belt. Next, sew on the top snap to the back of your knot. I also stitched through the knot a few times to make it extra secure. Lastly, take the end of the strand, cut it to fit your waist, and sew on the back of the snap.

  4. Hey.

First: Such a great idea with the belt!

Second: It is so great to find bloggers who love Jesus. I was so encouraged to read that on your "about" page.

Third: I am always amazed at blogs that have amazing diy's and consistent content. So, I guess my question is... How do you do it? It is just learning how to schedule time and when to do projects? I ask because I have a blog and at times I feel overwhelmed at trying to do everything I want with it. I love your blog and just wanted to know how you do it. :)

    1. Thank you so much, Jennifer! I love connecting with other gals who also believe in Christ. It's so encouraging!

I try and have a list of projects I want to do and pick a day to try and tackle 3 or 4 at a time. This way, it only takes up one day but I have enough projects to last me a week or two! Hope this helps. :)
