Others simply coasting.

There is space for it all.

And if you can't, practice the 5, 5, 7 rule. - inhale for 5 seconds, hold it for 5 seconds, exhale for 7 seconds.

Today, go outside and soak in the sunshine.
And if you can't, open the blinds or a window to let the sun come to you.

Today, listen to a podcast about a topic you're interested in learning more about.
And if you can't, listen to the sounds of the ocean or rain forest to bring calmness to your mind. (a simple YouTube search will give you plenty of options)

Today, research ways you can donate your resources to those facing immediate crisis.
And if you can't, think of those who are hurting and send your kind energy their direction.

Today, drink enough water. My favorite 'rule' is to drink half your body weight in ounces. Example, if you're 150 pounds, make it a goal to drink 75 ounces of water a day.
And if you can't, start with just a glass of water right now, in this very moment.

Today, journal the process of your emotions and thoughts.
And if you can't, write down one thing you're grateful for today.

Today, send a card or small gift to someone you know is having a difficult time.
And if you can't, send them a text telling them that they are on your mind.

Today, hug someone you love. And if you can't, hug a pet. And if you can't, hug a tree. And if you can't, hug yourself.

be gentle. with your body. other's feelings. the earth. your mind.

There is panic, there is avoidance, and there is a sweet, sweet middle that I hope you find yourself calling home.
