Painted Polka Dot Mug | Gift Idea + Gingerbread Latte

We've been all about the party hosting lately. It seems like at least a few days a week we have friends over, whether it's a big dinner party or just a few friends for coffee. It's one of the biggest reasons we wanted a house instead of a loft like the last place we lived; so we could have lots more people over. Since we've moved here, I've been trying to slowly add to my collection of dinnerware.

I found these glass mugs at the dollar store and purchased gold and bronze glass paint at a local craft store. This paint stays on without a sealant, though you should check with the specific paint you're using to make sure it doesn't need to be baked or sealed. This would also be a great holiday gift idea or a craft to make at a girl's night.

Some of my dear friends came to town this week, and we used these mugs and made gingerbread lattes from this recipe. Enjoy!

  11. Those are absolutely adorable. That, actually gives me a fantastic idea of what to give my sister! She is so hard to shop for. I think one of those mugs and some hot cocoa or filler things would be perfect for her.
