We've been exploring the surrounding area the past week and have found some really lovely places. Honestly, when we first talked about moving to Kansas City, I thought we'd be losing out on all the pretty wildlife you can find in the Springfield area. Boy, was I wrong. We're bicycle riding from a nearby lake and on the way, found lots a places to explore and parks to take walks. I feel revived when I'm outdoors, so this whole move thing just went up a whole notch in my book.
As well as being inspired by the great outdoors, our new home is proving to be quite the inspiring space. We have TONS of room. It's a good thing. Plus the natural light is great, which we all know is a blogger's best friend. As I mentioned before, this whole move has provided a whirlwind of emotions. Convincing my mind that the past few weeks is the new normal has been a strange feeling, but a good one. Josh and I are closer than ever, our new home is just what we were looking for, and the city is full of inspiration. I think it's okay to admit that as much as I was trying to convince myself how exciting this move was going to be, I was terrified. Terrified of letting go of everything I knew and everything that was comfortable. Leaving loved ones and taking a dive into a whole new, unknown adventure. I guess what I'm saying is, I was wrong. Moving isn't so scary. And when it is scary, it's okay, because everything is going to work out.
