Moving Day.

We packed and cleaned out our loft today. Lots of tears this weekend saying goodbye to the ones we love most, but thankful we're only a few hours away. Excited to make our new house a home, learn the ways of Kansas City, and make new friends. Thanks for understanding my lack of posts this week. Looking forward to sharing lots of photos and projects with you starting tomorrow. I can't say enough of how thankful I am for all of you, my sweet readers.

  17. I moved halfway across Canada last year and even though I was excited for the move and really looking forward to being in a new place, I was devastated to leave my darling little home behind. That picture reminds me a lot of my old home.

I still miss my tiny little house a LOT, but I will always look back on it as a place I lived and loved.

That said, I really love my new city and my new life and I hope you are just as happy in KC!

  23. I hope you both enjoy living in Kansas City! Moving to a new place is scary, but exciting. It's good that you're not too far away from old friends and family though. And they can visit you there, so that'll be fun :)
