San Diego.

On Monday, after driving around AZ all day, we were chatting with a pal about how fun it would be to take a day trip to San Diego. And so we thought, why not? Neither of us had ever been, so we thought now is better than ever. These photos were taken at Point Loma; the most beautiful view of the ocean I've ever seen. It felt isolated and untouched. After we explored the shore, we went to the highest point to overlook the city on one side and the ocean on the other. This trip sparked my wanderlust more than ever. We talked a lot about the future on the this trip and what it holds. We don't know exactly what the future looks like, and honestly, I don't want to know for the sake of enjoying the present, but we are excited to know that traveling is part of it. With our careers, it's the perfect opportunity to travel the world. Right now, we're working on exploring the west coast. If it were up to me, we would pack our bags tomorrow and move out west. Maybe, just maybe, we will one of these days.

Rabbit trail: I'm in love with the b+w photo of the man looking out into the ocean. His family pulled up and let him get out while they stayed in the car. He had such a sweet, content look on his face. He only stood there for about five minutes and got back in the car, watching the ocean the entire time they drove away. It makes me tear up just thinking about that moment. No matter who you are, where you're from, how old you are, what your story is, in some way or form we all share a similar desire: To behold beauty. To find peace and contentment. To be a part of something much greater than ourselves. Maybe we aren't all so different after all.

  18. The West is the best. I just moved to San Diego about 8 months ago from FL and love it out here. Point Loma was the very first spot in San Diego that my boyfriend and I found. We just kind of stumbled upon it, and now, we live here :)
