Say hello to my current favorite accessory. What I love most about this little project is that though it appears to be made from a more expensive material, it's really just trim you can find in the ribbon section! It also makes for a much more comfortable piece, rather than being created from metal. But enough rambling; take a look at how to make your very own gypsy crown..
Supplies: Pretty ribbon trim, snap on clips.
Pantry Supplies: Needle + thread, scissors.
First, measure and cut a piece of trim around your head. Take the snaps apart and sew one side to each end of the trim. Next, measure and cut another piece of trim that will go from front to back. Sew one end onto the front (directly across from the snaps). Lastly, sew the other end of the middle strip onto the top of the trim with a snap. Once your crown is complete it should look like the 5th photo when lying down flat.
I'm off to spend the day making projects at Red Velvet. What are you up to this afternoon? xo
