Chevron Moccasins DIY

There is nothing more sad than ruining a good pair of mocs. I feel like a month after buying them the suede gets so discolored. But instead of pitching them for a new pair, why not give some character to the ones you already have!?

SUPPLIES: Old pair of moccasins, masking tape, paint, and a paint brush.
First, tape off the pattern you would like to paint. I chose the simple chevron pattern.  Then begin painting your first color. Let it dry at least 80% of the way, then take off the tape and begin painting on your second color. You will then want to let it dry 100%. This all depends on the paint you used, but mine took only about 10 minutes.

Ta da! Easy as pie. Hope you have a lovely weekend! xo, Kins.

  3. This is super cute. I am notorious for ruing my mocs & boat shoes, so I'll have to remember this the next time I'm ready to throw them away.
